It works!!!!

And its up!! We have an aquaponic system in my living room! And yes it smells like a pond in here. Oh well, take the good with the bad. If the pH holds steady, we will add the fish tomorrow and I have some seeds starting to help fill the grow bed. Its really a cool system--using plants and worms (yes there will be worms in the soil-less grow media) to filter the water for the fish and feed the plants at the same time. Now if this works well, I'm hoping to figure out how to supply some of the energy needed to run the pump and light with solar maybe...will have to see. Its addicting though...Seans already talking of the next stage--more grow beds!
