looking back

Well, judging by the blogs I've been reading, everyone is taking a look at the year of the snake and evaluating. Soooo what have I learned from this year? I've learned SO MUCH about gardening, environment issues, permaculture I think I could explode and I LOVE IT. That's the biggest surprise--to find something I have definite passion for. I have completed all the personal goals I had set for myself--which is very cool. And I loved doing each one. Having been on the team has definitely given me the tools for setting goals, and in some of the goals I've set I've learned what TO set; what really matters to me. (Still learning that and always will be:) )I learned that I do have the power to do what feels right for me, even if everyone else thinks I'm crazy--like retiring before blackbelt. No regrets. It was the right choice for me, but hard to stand up for what I knew I needed. And the biggest thing I think I've taken away is that getting involved in things you like to do connects you with the best people you could ever know--I've seen it in both kungfu and in my gardening class. You guys are the best:)
